Friday Night Live
What is FNL - Friday Night Live is the on-campus club that promotes an alcohol, drug, and tobacco-free lifestyle and organizes sober activities.

Activities - Activities are an important part of Friday Night Live. The majority of our activities are open to all Santa Barbara High students and we regularly have activities with the Dos Pueblos and San Marco Friday Night Live clubs.

Community Service - Santa Barbara High's Friday Night Live club has many community service projects during the year, including: graffiti clean-ups, beach clean-ups, and the AIDS Walk.

SafeRides - SafeRides is an important part of Friday Night Live. Students volunteer from all three area high schools to provide rides home for other teens in potentially unsafe situations. SafeRides operates every Friday and Saturday night October through June, from 10pm to 2am. To become involved see Stacy King.

Special Events - The three major events coordinated by Friday Night Live are Red Ribbon Week, "I'm Free For the Weekend" and sober Prom and Graduation Celebrations of drug-free lifestyles. Friday Night Live also sponsors assemblies, noon-time DJs sno-cone sales, UCSB Party Toads, and much more.

Membership - Any student can participate in activities and club meetings, but membership in FNL does have its privileges. Members of FNL make a stronger commitment to the club's goals, activities and fund raisers. They are also eligible for discounted trips, activities and prizes.

FNL Meetings - Friday Night Life meetings are held in room 6, every Wednesday during lunch. Anyone can come to FNL meetings, and all students are welcome. Friday Night Live meetings are in English and Spanish.
