Becoming a Mentor is exciting, challenging and rewarding. It holds great promise for helping young people in a meaningful way. Caring mentors offer support, consistency and a chance for a young person to develop the knowledge and skills needed for their fullest potential. Mentors have the opportunity to pass on values, lessons learned and social skills from their generation to the next.
Mentor Program Mission
To have adult community members assist youth through the growth process between high school and adulthood, with an emphasis on academic achievement, by providing constant support, guidance, and concrete help.
Please download and review the Mentor Handbook. In it you will find the requirements for becoming a mentor and necessary information on your relationship with the mentee.
