The Santa Barbara High School counseling office is home to seven full-time counselors who work closely with students to prepare them for the college or career that best matches their interests and strengths. The social and academic development of students is the focal point of the counseling office.

** Naviance/Family Connection is a new online resource for students who are looking for college information. It has customized student information as well as an Advanced College Search function. Counselors are also using it to submit Secondary School reports for the Common App! Every student can log in with their ID number and birthdate. Check it out today!
- December 10th: Progress Report - see your counselor for your updated grades! This is the last check-point before the end of the semester. If you are failing or at-risk of failing a class, talk to your teacher and/or see your Counselor for help passing those classes!
- December 20 - January 4th: Winter Break!
- January 7th: Sophomore/Junior Parent Night and PSAT Scoreback! Spanish at 6:00pm in the Staff Cafeteria and English at 6:30pm in the Cafeteria. PSAT Scoreback starts at 7:45pm with Princeton Review. Get your scores and learn how to use them to your advantage when preparing for the SATs!
